Blogging without a digital camera is difficult if not impossible. I blame my lack of a camera for my sparse (and somewhat unexciting posts). But this Wednesday I am off to Hawaii for 3.5 weeks and this December I am expecting a Niece/Nephew, so the time was right for a new camera!
Unfortunatly taking a picture of the camera is impossible (ok not impossible, but flash+mirror is tricky (and stupid)), but here is a picture of Ferdinand taken with the camera. A black cat on a light background doesn't exactly show off what the camera is capable of, but its more interesting than the pictures I took of my feet. 
Hooray for more blog entries in the future! (And more knitting entries)

yay camera! yay posting on your blog! although I was suspecting that I would get another accounting of the (1) outlet store shopping trip and (2) all things el cerrito garage sale...
Did you go to the garage sale as well?
After I unpacked all my bags from our shopping trip, all my stuff covered my bed. Really really need to get rid of old clothes now.

i can't even put into words how jealous i am of 3.5 weeks in hawaii. wow. it's getting colder and darker here. say aloha to the sun and sand for me.
